The pricing for quantities of 200 or more sheets of 48lb requires a $5.00 shipping upgrade for the larger Priority Mail box rate. Up to 200 sheets of 48lb or 250 sheets of 29lb vellum will fit in one Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping envelope for combined shipping with no extra postage charge.

Vellum is a delicate paper that is best stored in a flat, dry place. ~ Use “transparency” mode in your paper type settings if your printer has it ~ Let the ink dry completely before stacking printed sheets or handling the vellum. This will lay down the least amount of ink possible, making it harder for the ink to smear. ~ Select “economy”, “draft” or “speed” print mode (depending on the specific machine). You can simply place the paper in the printer as you would any regular paper and print your document or text onto it. Our vellum will work on most inkjet and laser printers. Though 48 lb vellum is not a completely sheer overlay, heavyweight 48lb vellum has a lot of other great uses! It is thick enough to be used as a lightweight, stand-alone invitation card, or it also works well as a sturdy backer, wrap, top layer, etc. It is moderately heavy, rigid, and should be scored before folding to avoid cracking along the fold. weight is more substantial than the lighter weight vellum. Although the word vellum used to refer only to a type of paper made from calfskin, modern vellum is made from cotton and wood pulp. Printed vellum can also be lighted from behind to create a beautifully illuminated image. The transparent (translucent) properties allow you to use it as a separate beautiful paper on its own or as an overlay on top of another image that you can see underneath the vellum, or even for tracing designs.
